Innovate NY PAC has thrown its support behind Andrew Cuomo's mayoral bid, citing his vision to position New York City as the "Global crypto Capital." The group highlights a $779 million annual economic impact from public-benefit stablecoins like NYC USD, which directs yield toward affordability programs and civic services.

The policy agenda emphasizes blockchain-driven solutions, including city impact tokens and real-world asset tokenization, to generate revenue without raising taxes. "Andrew Cuomo brings the leadership to make NYC the leader in innovation," said Eddie Cullen, Chair of Innovate NY PAC. The plan aims to leverage stablecoins, AI, and tokenization to fund housing, infrastructure, and education.
